Nintendo Switch 2 will be launched in just a few days. Now the official list of which games are available for the game console has been confirmed at its launch.
On June 5, it is time for Nintendo's latest gaming console to land on the store shelves. Nintendo has now updated its homepage And listed all games that will be available for the console on the launch day.
If we look at the games created for Nintendo Switch 2 or that get a new version without available “upgrade package” for those who already own the game on Switch 1, the list looks like the following:

There will also be a number of older game titles that have been updated for the new console. However, not everyone is free to play on Nintendo Switch 2 even if you own the game for the first generation Switch console. A couple of games require that owners of the previous games buy an “upgrade package” to play these on Switch 2. Alternatively, the games buy again for full price if for some reason you want it.
The games that need to be upgraded to Switch 2 are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Sid Meier's Civilization VII and Rune Factory: Guardiands of Azuma.
There are also a number of games that are updated to take advantage of the hardware in Nintendo Switch 2 and can be played on the console without an extra cost for owners of the Switch 1 versions. These games are:

Thus, there will be 19 most new games for the console on the launch day. Four games released to Switch 1 which can be played on Switch 2 but require an extra cost. Finally, we have eleven games that have been launched earlier but which will be available on Switch 2 without the owner having to open the wallet once again.
