Summer is approaching but the program is not changing. Like every week, we take stock of all the new films, series, documentaries and shows that join the most important SVOD platforms on the market. Netflix films from May 27 to June 2, 2024 (S22)
What's new in new Netflix releases for week 22? Lolita Despite Me (Mean Girls), the cult teen movie for an entire generation, arrives on June 1st. And so there is no confusion, this is the original 2003 film starring Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams. The singer plays Cady Heron who lived her entire childhood in Africa. Until the day his parents, zoologists by trade, moved to the United States to Illinois. She must thus leave her life with wild animals to face the long reality of high school, and try to fit into the mold by joining the group of bimbos called the “Plastics”.
The second Netflix film from May 27 to June 2, 2024 is Nocturnal Animals starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams. A feature film which is worth seeing for the performance of its actors, and which has fairly favorable opinions on Rotten Tomatoes with 74% (press) and 73% (spectators).

Netflix series from May 27 to June 2, 2024 (S22)
This week's Netflix event series is Ni Una Más (Raising Voices) with Clara Galle in the cast (Through my window). It tells the story of Alma, a young 17-year-old high school student, who denounces a sexual assault she suffered. “The ensuing investigation turns his life upside down and tests his relationships” can we read in the official synopsis. Season 4 of New Amsterdam. A medical series where we follow the arrival of Max Goodwin at the New York public hospital. A recruit who wants to instill passion in other doctors and change the lives of his patients. Finally, there will also be the new show Doctor Climax. This time, it will be about a Thai dermatologist, in the 70s, who awakens an entire population to sexuality. Watch on Netflix on May 31.

The documentary Dancing with the Devil: A Sect on TikTok is the only new feature from May 27 to June 2, 2024. It does not deal with the social network, which is a hit among young people, in itself, but rather with a sordid affair of a sect which hid its game well as very often. “When TikTok dancers join a talent agency and the church it is affiliated with, disturbing details about their founder and behind the scenes are revealed”
