The War Within uses the fastest XP grind that a WoW add-on has ever had

A new expansion for the MMORPG World of Warcraft, The War Within, is scheduled to appear in 2024. An exact release date is not yet known, but more and more information is leaking out.

Among other things, we now know that you can level up faster with the addon than ever before with a WoW expansion. Not only are the XP required to level up adjusted, experienced players can also receive an XP bonus of up to 25 percent. You can find all the important information about this in this article.

Level up up to 80 percent faster

As with the current Dragonflight expansion, The War Within will reduce the amount of XP required to reach level 70. This is the entry level that you must reach in order to be able to play the expansion.

Compared to Dragonflight, The War Within has the total for the entry level Required XP reduced by around 55 percent. However, the reduction varies greatly depending on game progress. Up to level 10 you even need slightly more XP. You can find a compact overview of the changes here.

This is how the XP required differs in The War Within compared to Dragonflight:

• Levels 1 – 10: Increase by approximately 3 percent.
• Level 11 – 50: Reduction of around 15 to 20 percent.
• Level 51 – 60: Reduction by around 20 to 40 percent.
• Level 61 – 70: Reduction by around 70 to 80 percent.

Additional XP boost

The War Within also adds new achievements that give you a limited XP boost upon completion. You can get them by bringing one character on your account to level 80. As a reward you get for all other characters an XP boost of 5 percent up to level 80.

The achievement is available five times in total. This means you can get a total boost of. within your account up to 25 percent receive. This means you can reach the entry level much faster than before.
