Is the Tesla Cybertruck really as ugly as many say? See the cyberpunk-style truck for yourself soon as it makes its way through numerous European cities.

The Cybertruck has been rolling off the assembly line in the USA for a few months now. While numerous celebrities have already been spotted in the crazy pickup truck, the YouTube community has tested the vehicle for bullet resistance and more.

After all, Tesla boss Elon Musk promised a bulletproof design made of stainless steel.

There is still no official information about a market launch in Germany and the focus is initially on North America. But the European start could not be too long in coming. Because Tesla has now announced it Cybertruck Odyssey on, a European tour through more than 100 major cities.

In a nutshell

  • Tesla's Cybertruck will be available for live demos and photos from May to July at the following locations:
    • Berlin: May 2nd to 4th
    • Düsseldorf: May 8th to 11th
    • Munich: May 15th to 18th
    • Stuttgart: June 26th to 29th
    • Hanover: July 3rd to 6th
    • Frankfurt am Main: July 3rd to 6th
    • Hamburg: July 10th to 13th

What can you expect on the Cybertruck Odyssey?

Live demos: Many things appear different on site than in photos and videos. So far you've heard it over and over again how ugly is the Cybertruck. Tesla hopes that the live demos will change this opinion among at least some people.


Locations: Tesla will show the Cybertruck in Europe from May to mid-July at more than 100 locations in 20 countries. While the Mall of Berlin As an exception, the truck will primarily be seen in local Tesla branches. You can find further information about locations and times here.


What makes the Cybertruck so exciting? Aside from the looks, the Cybertruck brings some new ideas. In addition to the cold-rolled stainless steel skin, which is intended to minimize scratches and dents, there will be standard air suspension and a performance variant that will accelerate the monster from 0 to 100 km/h within 2.8 seconds.

The Cybertruck also has one of the largest windshields and front trunks on the market.

Perhaps the most important feature is bi-directional charging

What's really interesting, however, is a feature that competitors have been offering for a long time, but is a novelty for Tesla: You can also charge other devices with the Cybertruck.

Several sockets should be available for this purpose, while other electric vehicles and even houses should be supplied with electricity via the charging port. Tesla has promised in the past that all Teslas will support this bi-directional charging feature by 2025.
