Multiple sources claim that the Switch 2 will not launch in 2024. Nintendo is aiming for 2025 instead.
Everything suggests that 2024 will not be the year of the Switch 2. Three different media from the English-speaking press — Bloomberg, VGCEurogamer — all claim that the successor to the first Switch of the name will not make its commercial debut before next year. Presumably, in the first or second quarter of 2025.
At the start of the year, rumors were potentially predicting an arrival in the third or fourth quarter of 2024 – an audio peripheral seller explicitly mentioned a release of the Switch 2 next September. However, this was a wet-fingered estimate from the company. Nothing has been announced or confirmed by Nintendo.
The commercial life of the Switch continues
