The abandonment of the disc version of “The Outlast Trials” was discussed in a conversation with Exputer somewhat vaguely worded. Regarding a possible retail version for consoles, it was said that “no plans are currently being pursued”.
In Early Access, “The Outlast Trials” costs less than 30 euros, which makes a retail version sound less likely. But a higher-priced edition with digital content is also coming onto the market. Subsequent disc variants also often have additional physical content.
“The Outlast Trials” is also listed in the PlayStation Store and can be pre-ordered. The standard version costs 36.99 euros each for PS4 and PS5. The deluxe edition of the title goes over the virtual counter for 44.99 euros and also includes four legendary outfits, cell items and posters as well as player icons.

Pre-orderers will receive the “Grizzly Hazmat Outfit” as a bonus when purchasing one of the versions early.
