Survival fans have been waiting for a very long time.
Subnautica 2 will be released in Early Access next week on May 14th. Now Microsoft has announced that the wet survival hit will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass right at launch.
Xbox Game Pass grabs survival highlight
The first Subnautica is considered one of the best survival games ever. Accordingly, the hype for the successor is enormous. On the PC platform Steam, Subnautica 2 has been at the top of the most wanted games for months (watch on Steam). Anyone who pays for the Xbox Game Pass (which is now slightly cheaper again) can get a taste of the underwater world without having to pay an additional cent.
In Subnautica 2 you are stranded on an alien world. A huge ocean with colorful aliens and hidden dangers awaits you. You collect resources, ensure your survival and build huge facilities underwater. In contrast to the first part, in the sequel you can now go on a diving trip with up to three friends.

Finally Subnautica again!
I said it back then and I still stand by it today: I’m looking forward to Subnautica 2 more than GTA 6!
The first part of the underwater survival hit already made it, in my opinion perfect interplay between deep relaxation and terrifying horror to create something that I didn’t even know would excite me so much.
I can now see myself diving aimlessly through the world for several hours, always looking for new secrets and blueprints that will then allow me to penetrate even further into the game world and further expand my base – and this time directly with friends! I can hardly wait!
What else does Xbox Game Pass have to offer in May?
Microsoft announced more games for Xbox Game Pass in May. A special highlight is Forza Horizon 6, which will be included in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on May 19th. This time in the open-world racing game you race through the picturesque landscapes of Japan with more than 550 different cars.
Forza Horizon 6 is also highly anticipated on Steam. In the list of most wanted games, it is in third place, right behind Valve’s own Moba shooter Deadlock.
