“The enigmatic resurrection of an undead monster”, this is the pitch of In a Violent Nature. To be clear, it is a slasher in the purest tradition of the genre (but not only that, you will see): a style of film which has existed for decades now and which still proves to be quite tireless. The principle ? A ruthless enemy, often overpowered, and protagonists who often serve as lint, one by one. A concept that has also been exported well to video games, the works of Supermassive Games being good examples.
In short, In a Violent Nature ultimately promises to be highly anticipated: its 4:3 image format, its particular grain, his desire to pay homage to the genre, but also to innovate by telling the story… from the point of view of the antagonist, and not the victims. Shocking violence
No one will be surprised if we say that In a Violent Nature is intended for an adult and informed audience. However, there is violence and violence: for once, the film promises to be particularly shocking, according to the feedback from the American press… but no less innovative.

It must be believed that telling the story from the monster's side brings a particularly welcome freshness. “In A Violent Nature manages to do something different with a subgenre that is notoriously difficult to innovate”, says YouTuber Cody Leach, for example. For its part, InSession makes another glowing statement: “In A Violent Nature, while deeply and clearly indebted to the countless slashers that preceded it, is not like most slasher films.”
