Shortly before the start of the weekend, further scenes from the second season appeared on X (formerly Twitter). This time there is a short clip that shows the two characters Elli and Dina accompanied by animals.
While Isabela Merced can be seen in the role of Dina in the second season, Bella Ramsey will once again take on the role of young Ellie.
What is the second season about?
After the first season picked up the events of “The Last of Us” and the “Left Behind” DLC, the second season unsurprisingly continues with the plot of “The Last of Us: Part 2”. The acclaimed sequel told a dark story around themes of love, revenge and forgiveness.

The action of “The Last of Us: Part 2” begins several years after the events of the first part. As those responsible for the TV series promised, the oppressive mood of the title should also be tangible in the second season of the TV series “The Last of Us”.
Among other things, the makers promised here a scene, which should generate plenty of conversation and “make it into every Twitter feed.” Anyone who has played “The Last of Us: Part 2” should already have an idea of what this is all about.

The second season of “The Last of Us” starts in 2025 and not only gives us a reunion with various old acquaintances. There are also completely new characters and actors involved. As mentioned at the beginning, Isabela Merced plays the role of Dina and Bella Ramsey plays Ellie. Pedro Pascal also returns as Joel.
