Prime Video occupied the media field this weekend with a new trailer for The Boys season 4. A trailer that does not take half measures, like the rest of the series. These new episodes will be broadcast from June 13, 2024 around the world, including in France. Until then, subscribers will be able to grab the new releases from the platform for the month of May. New Prime Video film releases for May 2024
It's a little late – please don't hold it against us – that we're taking a look at all the new Amazon Prime Video releases for May 2024. And there's already some very heavy stuff in the new films available with big names from the 7th art and even music. For Pokemon fans, the half live-action, half CGI Detective Pikachu feature film has been available since May 1st. Other cult licenses are also part of the new releases such as Tomb Raider (with Alicia Vikander), Batman Begins, Men in Black 4, while the Ninja Turtles (with Megan Fox) will return in the middle of the month.
In the Prime Video additions for May 2024, we also note the presence of A Star is Born with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, the French comedy Les Mythos, Moonrise Kindgom and its insane cast (Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray …) or even feature films never seen before. There is notably the rom com The Idea of Being With You which narrates the meeting between Anne Hathaway and the star of a boy band younger than her; Arthur the King where we will see Mark Walhberg go on an adventure in the company of a stray dog; or even Kali. An action film with Sabrina Ouazani, a former Special Forces recruit, who will do anything to avenge the death of her husband. It will be available on May 31, 2024 on Prime Video.

New Prime Video series releases for May 2024
As for the series, Prime Video has chosen to bring back Outer Range for a season 2. A western with Josh Brolin who can be found starring in Dune 2, but who was mainly Brand in The Goonies and Thanos in the saga Avengers from Marvel Studios. “The mystery surrounding the west prairie phenomenon of the Abbott Ranch deepens. The serious and unexpected consequences that this generates could shake the very foundations of time” official synopsis of Outer Ranger season 2 via Amazon Prime Video.
Maxton Hall – the world that separates us will be the platform's new teen series which takes place in a high school. We follow Ruby as she discovers a secret that could harm James Beaufort, the school's arrogant and millionaire student. The emerging rivalry between the two will perhaps give way to other feelings… Finally, JoeyStarr (NTM) will make his return to the small screen with season 1 of Machine. It will be available to watch from May 23, 2024 on Prime Video.

All new documentaries and shows
The Prime Video documentaries and broadcasts for May 2024 play the sports card to the fullest with the first of the 11 night sessions at Roland Garros. If you prefer football to tennis, there will be report 99 on the historic treble of the Manchester United team who won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League in the same year. For engine enthusiasts, the 2024 season of Top Gear France hosted by the YouTuber duo Vilebrequin will also be available this week on Amazon Prime Video.
Finally, you can also count on season 3 of Clarkson on the farm. “After the triumphant end of season 2, everything goes to hell at Diddly Squat Farm. The Council closed the restaurant and the weather destroyed the crops. Jeremy then started raising pigs, goats and growing mushrooms. For his part, Kaleb, recently appointed farm manager, must face an unexpected rival” (via Amazon).
