End of the suspense, the Tesla Model 3 Performance finally returns to the Tesla configurator from April 23. After the surprise of discovering that it was ultimately not renamed “Ludicrous”, as expected by fans of the brand, the Tesla Model 3 Performance is finally made official.

From €55,990 in France
The price was ultimately the great unknown of this version of the Model 3. The leaks, in photos and videos, had made it possible to observe the model from almost all its angles, but nothing had been rumored concerning the price of this Performance version .
In France, the Tesla Model 3 Performance is available from €55,990. Tesla respects the usual gap with the long-range version, sold €6,000 cheaper. The price difference is identical with the Model Y between the Long Autonomy and Performance versions.
The difference widens much more compared to the Propulsion version: €16,000 difference between Model 3 Propulsion and Performance, compared to only €13,000 difference on the Model Y.

Characteristics to remember
The Model 3 Performance can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, which is 0.6 seconds better than the Model Y Performance. This Model 3 can also reach 262 km/h, while the maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h on its Model Y equivalent.
Tesla is introducing a different size tire between the front and rear. The tires, which are wider at the rear, must offer more dynamism and greater traction for the car on the road and on the circuit. The Model 3 Performance is equipped with specific 20-inch forged aluminum wheels.
Tesla equipped the Model 3 Performance with adaptive damping controlled by Tesla software. This intelligent technology must provide the necessary compromise between everyday comfort and increased handling requirements during more dynamic phases. However, we will have to wait for road tests to be able to judge the relevance of this innovation.
The Tesla Model 3 is not just a more powerful version of the Long Autonomy version. Its chassis has been reinforced to meet the performance needs of the car. Brakes adapted to the circuit are also now fitted as standard on the model.
In terms of autonomy, it is given for 528 km in WLTP standard. This is almost 100 km less than the Long Autonomy version, which may come as a surprise.
Some aesthetic changes
Leaks had already revealed that the new generation Model 3 Performance is equipped with a different, more aggressive front and rear bumper. Air circulation and cooling have been revised. Finally, the carbon spoiler is still there to differentiate this sporty version.
Inside, this Performance version is equipped with new sports seats and a carbon fiber dashboard exclusive to this version.
Enthusiasts can already place an order for this Model 3 Performance at €55,990 on the Tesla website. The first deliveries will take place throughout the 2nd quarter with an estimate given for “May – June” according to the Tesla website.
