The most recent, dated April 2, is from Australia, Team Cherry's country of origin. In its native land, Silksong received the PG category for “Mild Violence”. Given that this is one of the last countries missing to classify the game, all that remains is for the independent studio to finally announce the release date.

Team Cherry should soon come out of its long silence

The main party concerned remains for the moment in obstinate silence and has not yet officially confirmed anything. However, it should be remembered that the classification of a game is one of the final steps before announcing its release. As things currently stand, that of Hollow Knight Silksong should therefore take place if all goes well in the coming weeks.

With Summer Game Fest less than two months away, Team Cherry would in any case have the perfect platform to announce with great fanfare the release of this extremely anticipated sequel.
