As a freelancer, our columnist is confronted with a wide range of tasks – that's exactly his thing! And he is happy to be able to help out with problems as a generalist veteran.
This content would not be possible to finance without the premium users. But we urgently need more supporters: you can help too!
Are you ready for something new from the freelance world? No, of course I'm not announcing a world-exclusive reboot of the space game here. Rather, this column is another foray into my life as a freelancer. In my case, this always means that I have to carry out a wide variety of tasks as part of different orders. The day before yesterday I was a designer working on the concept for a horse game; yesterday an accountant who worked with calculations and calculated funding; today I am a teacher who is a visiting lecturer at a university; Tomorrow I'll be a producer again, delving into project plans and milestone definitions; The day after tomorrow there will even be a legal assistant who will review an initial draft of the contract before it is finally checked by the customer's legal department and presented to management for signature.

Not a specialist who only knows one area very well, but a generalist with a wide spectrum – and if I don't know what to do next, I know enough people and specialists who can help me in the relevant field.
I've already done a lot in the games industry – and today it's paying off…
