Designer Ian Zelbo shared exclusive high-quality renderings of the upcoming Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphones, which reflect key changes in the design of the flagships.

The concept maker used information from sources in the MFi accessory supply chain as well as detailed CAD drawings from iPhone test production. Most likely, new smartphones will be exactly like this, without any other changes in the design, since the company usually completes the engineering testing procedure by May and starts mass production of gadgets.

Apparently, Apple still made the final decision to replace the silent mode lever with a new button with tactile feedback. At the same time, the volume buttons will remain separate, although previous rumors indicated that they would be combined into one large key.

The big change for 2023 will be a new mute button with tactile feedback. It can also be used for other actions in the same way as the Action button in the Apple Watch Ultra.Interestingly, the younger models of the series, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, will retain the familiar lever.

The increase in the dimensions of the camera unit and the lenses themselves in the iPhone 15 Pro Max confirms the information about the presence of a periscope and an almost inch sensor of the main camera.Alas, the younger model of the iPhone 15 Pro will not receive these innovations.A similar situation was observed with the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

In addition, Zelbo once again mentioned the reduced bezels around the screens in both models, slightly rounded edges, and a USB-C port instead of Lightning.

Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max at the September presentation.
