For most of the summer of 2021, the fires destroyed the forests of Northern California. By mid-October, most of these fires were extinguished or burned, but another round of wildfire warnings and violent fires had begun to cause disasters on the bushes and grasslands of Southern California.

After a fire ignited near the Alisar Reservoir on October 11, the fast-moving fire burned 13,400 acres (54 square kilometers) of vegetation on the afternoon of October 13. The fire was only controlled by 5%. As the fire threatened at least 100 buildings, the authorities have issued an evacuation order and closed some sections of Highway 101.
