Tecno CAMON 30 Premier 5G smartphone launch includes Sony CXD5622GG independent imaging chip in debut

Gamingdeputy reported on February 28 that Tecno recently released the CAMON 30 Premier 5G mobile phone at the MWC 2024 World Mobile Communications Conference. The phone is equipped with Tecno PolarAce imaging system.First release of Sony CXD5622GG independent imaging chip.

Tecno CAMON 30 Premier mobile phone uses MediaTekDimensity 8200 processor1.5K LTPO OLED direct screen, IMX890 OIS main camera, periscope telephoto lens and Sony CXD5622GG independent image chip.

Tecno says its PolarAce imaging system includes:

• Professional optical components in cooperation with Sony LYTIA

• Computing imaging capabilities provided by Sony’s independent imaging chip CXD5622GG

• Localized adjustments for different skin tones

• AIGC portrait mode and AI one-click elimination function

The picture shows that Sony CXD5622GG is built by TSMC 6nm process, has 12MB on-chip memory, supports 20bit RAW domain computational photography, FP16 computing power reaches 4.6 TFLOPS, and brings two industry firsts – Device-side FP16 floating point operation and 4K 30fps full-scene AI noise reduction HDR video.
