The crazy monkeys of SEGA are back in 2024 with Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble exclusively on Nintendo Switch. On today's menu to give you the banana, new information on the Adventure mode which will be offered to players from June 25, 2024. A delicious new adventure awaits you!
Visiting a tropical island, AiAi and her friends meet Palette, an adventurer in search of the Legendary Banana. They agree to join her on her adventures, across several different worlds, to recover special items that are said to unlock the location of this unique relic. During their journey, they will meet new friends and mysterious rivals.
For those who don't know Super Monkey Ball or are simply looking to improve their technique, all-new optional assistance features are now available in Banana Rumble! They include:
- The ability to Backtracking to rewind the level and retry a difficult area.
- An option of Ghost guidewhich adds a transparent runner alongside you to show you the key methods required to achieve the goal.
- A Level guide who will show you the path to take if you don't know where to go.
- The choice to start again Checkpoint in some levels, and much more!
Introduction to the game world
Adventure mode includes 200 new levels, spread across various worlds dotted with adventures and twists and turns to discover solo or in 4-player cooperation! All this sprinkled with a captivating story told through beautiful cutscenes.
To make fans' mouths water, SEGA® decided to present a level from each of the first five worlds of this game mode.
World 1: Banana Farm
World 1 is designed to gradually teach you all the tools you will need on your adventure! A good example is the level “Sliding Rails” where steps and ramps larger than the player's ball are placed throughout the level. Use the new spin acceleration technique to pass these obstacles!
World 2: Rose Garden
The “Labyrinth of Wonders” is designed as a large hedge maze. Players will have to find the right path to progress to the final objective.
World 3: Floating City
The “Switch and go again” level contains switches that move the different scaffolding. Use these switches at the right time to achieve your goal.
World 4: Golden Temple
The “Rolling Balls” level features huge balls that block your path. Move these balls to reach the end of the level.
World 5: Stone Valley
The end of the “Rocket Launcher” level is high up in the sky. Use the rocket to jump into the air and aim for the goal!
