Storm in a Teacup, an Italian developer known for works such as the escape survival horror “ENKI'', the beautiful magical world story “NERO'', and the BioShock-style marine steampunk horror “Close To The Sun'', released 2 last year as a new work. The stealth action adventure “Steel Seed” was announced in February, but Storm in a Teacup has issued a new press release announcing a partnership with publisher ESDigital Games. It has been revealed that “Steel Seed” is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2024 as a new game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
In addition, in conjunction with the decision on the publisher and release date, the first gameplay trailer was released, showing many details such as the appearance of the main character Zoe, parkour action, exploration using gadgets, platformer parts, etc. A gameplay demo of this work will be unveiled at the ESDigital booth at the opening GDC.

“Steel Seed” is set in a future Earth where humanity is on the brink of extinction, and the last survivors, safely protected underground by AI machines, face new threats. It's an action-stealth adventure that tells a story, featuring elements such as the companion drone KOBY, which doubles as a guide and search tool, a variety of gadgets to help you explore the environment, stealth technology, parkour action, and fast-paced combat action.
