There are a total of 49 cans in Stellar Blade. In addition to the “Can Collector” trophy, you will also receive another reward every 7 cans that will help you on your journey. The rewards are as follows:

In front of your ship Xion stands in the camp Vending machine. There you can see which cans you have collected so far. You should also visit him regularly to receive the rewards listed above. You don't get it automatically.
Nearby ones By the way, cans can also be displayed via scan if you improve your drone accordingly. To do this, go to a repair console and switch to the Drone tab. On the far left in the upgrade tree you can unlock the Can Detector improvement. This means you will always hear a noise when there is a can near you.
Important NOTE: Before you make your way to the orbit lift in Eidos 9, you must have 45 in your possession. Because the orbit lift represents the “point of no return”. This means that you can no longer visit any of the previous areas afterwards. This means you won't be able to collect any missing drink cans afterwards.
