The latest installment in the popular series, Assassin's Creed Shadows, recently unveiled a 13-minute full-scale gameplay video. As anticipation grows for its release on November 15, 2024, Ubisoft has issued a new press release announcing the composers who will be working on the game's original soundtrack.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows Original Soundtrack Composer Announced!
Ubisoft Co., Ltd. has announced the composers who worked on the original soundtrack for “Assassin's Creed: Shadows.” Four exclusive tracks will be released on the following platforms on June 14th.
Following the gameplay footage revealed at Ubisoft Forward, we are introducing the artists who will be helping to create the music that will bring the world of Assassin's Creed: Shadows to life. With different backgrounds, genres to pursue, and influences to align with, they have come together to create an immersive, surprising, and memorable original soundtrack for the game. Details of the three composer teams and their work to date are below:
Following on from their work on Assassin's Creed Odyssey, musical duo The Flight, comprised of Joe Henson and Alexis Smith, are once again composing original music for Assassin's Creed: Shadows. Working closely with the team at Ubisoft, the duo have developed a distinctive sound that incorporates traditional Japanese instruments and musicians, while also using a modern style to fit the game's world.
Ubisoft Québec*1 also worked closely with Montreal-based Japanese psychedelic rock group TEKE::TEKE to create several original songs for the game. The group combines traditional Japanese instruments with flutes, trombones, raging guitars and cinematic vocals to create music reminiscent of psychedelic Japanese soundtracks from the 1960s and 1970s. TEKE::TEKE's experimental yet considered approach creates emotive soundscapes that provide unexpected surprises in the music you'll enjoy throughout the game.
Additionally, composer team Thunderdrum – Hugo Brijs, Alex Cameron Ward and Félix Rebaud-Sauer – have teamed up with Tanzania-born, South London-based rapper, singer-songwriter and producer Tiggs Da Author for a psychedelic rock fusion that adds a new layer to the music of Assassin's Creed: Shadows.
Ubisoft Québec is bringing together a vast and diverse range of sounds, songs, cultures and voices to create a single, immersive and surprising musical experience for all to hear in the game. The first EP release features some of the game's most iconic songs, including a unique and original arrangement of the series theme “Ezio's Family” by TEKE::TEKE.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows will be available on November 15th for Ubisoft+*2, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Mac with Apple Silicon (Mac App Store), and Windows PC (Ubisoft Store / Epic Games Store).

About The Flight
The Ivor Novello Award-winning duo Joe Henson and Alexis Smith began working together in 2005. Discovering their similar approach to life and vastly different tastes in music, the two soon began collaborating on creative endeavors including songwriting, lyricism and production. Not only have they worked with some of the biggest names in music, but they are also known for their work as composers on AAA titles including Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
TEKE::About TEKE
TEKE::TEKE is a Montreal-based Japanese psychedelic rock group consisting of guitarists Sei Nakauchi Pelletier and Hidetaka Yoneyama, bassist Mishka Stein, drummer Ian Lettre, flutist Yuki Isami, trombonist Etienne Lebel, and visual artist and vocalist Maya Kuroki. Featuring traditional Japanese instruments as well as flutes and trombones, raging guitars and a driving rhythm section, TEKE::TEKE's sound is reminiscent of Japanese psychedelic rock of the 1960s and 70s, but with an experimental approach and a frenetic, modern twist.
