Sony releases new INZONE headset and 720 Hz OLED screen

Sony launches a light open gaming headset and a fast OLED screen in the INZONE series. The H6 Air focuses on light weight and clear sound, while the M10S II targets e-sports with 540 Hz in QHD or 720 Hz in HD mode.

Sony replenishes its INZONE range with two new products for gamers: the headset INZONE H6 Air and the screen INZONE M10S II. The former focuses on light weight and open sound design, while the M10S II is an OLED display aimed at competitive FPS gamers.

INZONE H6 Air is an open gaming headset which, according to Sony, should provide a more natural and accurate sound image by reducing internal reflections. The headset uses specially adapted elements based on the same technology as in Sony’s MDR-MV1 open studio housings, but here adapted for gaming. The integrated rear channels in the elements should also contribute to deeper and more controlled bass.

The weight lands on 199 grams without a detachable microphone and cable, making the H6 Air Sony’s lightest gaming headset to date. The model uses the same springy headband design as the INZONE H9 II and also has an adjustable cardioid microphone that should reduce noise from the sides. Via INZONE Hub and one USB-C Audio Box is it also possible to activate a special RPG/Adventure profile as well as virtual 7.1 sound with 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming.

The other news is INZONE M10S IIa new OLED screen developed together with Fnatic. Here it is about a panel with tandem structure, QHD resolution in 540 Hz or HD in 720 Hz via Dual Mode, as well as a stated response time of 0.02 ms. Sony also highlights improved Motion Blur Reductionwhere, according to the company, the screen should be able to reduce motion blur without the same light loss as with more traditional solutions.

The screen also gets a new one Super Anti-Glare Film to reduce reflections and can switch between two different modes: 27 inches in 1440p and one 24.5-inch tournament mode in 1332p/1080p. The stand was developed together with Fnatic and has a tilt from -5 to 35 degreescompact foot and a panel thickness of 4 mm. Sony also ships three year warranty and various forms of OLED protectionincluding heat management with custom heat sinks.

Sony is also launching new Fnatic editions of the Inzone Mouse-A. Inzone Mat-F and Inzone Mat-D. The Mat-F has been designed with Fnatic and takes inspiration from their Valorant team and the Mat-D comes with a black-to-orange gradient.
