The Modern Storyteller team has published a new trailer for The Forgotten City, a detective game that has grown from a mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim into a full-fledged independent project.
The title will be released this summer on PC, Switch and both the console generations. The game has its own Steam page.
Deep underground, on the streets of a mysterious city, twenty-six doomed souls are trying to survive. At first glance, their life is wonderful, but if even one of them breaks the mysterious Golden Rule, then they will all die. You have to go on a journey 2000 years ago and help the captives escape from an endless time loop. Explore the city, talk to your comrades in misfortune and be careful: every secret you uncover can change your destiny.
Make a choice, go back in time and choose again to unravel the city’s main secret. Remember, any choice can be fatal. The fate of the city is in your hands.
The Forgotten City won an Australian Writers Guild Award and has been downloaded over 3 million times. After the tremendous success, the modders decided to start a full-fledged game based on the mod.
