Fans of the Netflix series “The Witcher” can finally take a closer look at actor Liam Hemsworth as the new Geralt of Rivia.
Filming recently began Season 4 of the Netflix series “The Witcher”. Probably one of the biggest changes after actor Henry Cavill's exit should be the new cast of the hero Geralt of Rivia. In the future, this will be embodied by Liam Hemsworth, who can now be seen in full witcher outfit for the first time.

There was already a short video of the first reading recently Season 4 of “The Witcher” to see, which of course Liam Hemsworth also took part. But only now are fans getting to see him for the first time in his full Witcher outfit as the new Geralt of Rivia. The corresponding images come from from a report in the British magazine Metro and show Hemsworth currently filming the new episodes.
In some of the photos, the new Geralt actor skillfully swings his sword. Apparently these are re-enactments of the fight against Vilgefortz, which actually already took place in season 3. Another picture shows the actor relaxing against a huge rock during a break from filming.
The entire material gives the impression that Liam Hemsworth could actually become a good replacement for the departed Henry Cavill. Just recently, fellow actor Freya Allan asked fans to to give him a fair chance. Allan is on the show as Ciria character very closely linked to Geralt of Rivia.
When does The Witcher season 4 come out?
So far, Netflix has not announced a specific start date for the fourth season of “The Witcher”. However, since filming only recently began and will certainly take several months, fans will have to be patient for better or worse.

The new episodes are unlikely to be shown on Netflix until 2025, possibly in the summer. This mainly depends on how long the post-production, including the special effects, will take. A debut towards the end of this year is unlikely.
