See where you are browsing – use zoom in Chrome, Edge and Firefox

Sometimes a web page is difficult to read. The reasons can be many, you may have some vision problems, the screen resolution may not be ideal or the webmaster may have simply chosen a font that is far too small.

There are several ways to optimize the reading experience when using a web browser. One variation is to zoom in and make the text, images and icons larger on the web pages you want to read. Sometimes it can also be interesting to do the opposite, to zoom out. This makes more of the page visible and you get a better overview without having to scroll.

This is a simple tip that you may already know. We show as quickly as possible how it works – the method is the same in all browsers. But zooming in and out resizes the entire content of web pages, including images. If you only need to resize the text without affecting other elements, it is also possible, but the methods differ. We also go through it in steps 2 to 4. Note that this may not work with all websites.
