You need Halcyon in Saros to unlock important skills in your skill tree. Below we will tell you where you can find it and how you can farm it.
Find Halcyon
Lucenite and Halcyon are the resources you need to upgrade your skill tree. While Lucenite is easy to find, for example by defeating enemies, Halcyon is a little different. By the way, you not only need Lucenite for your skill tree, but also to build up adrenaline.
Halcyon finds you always end up with one of the seven nightmare strands. You also get a certain amount automatically as the story progresses. For example, after completing a biome or by visiting previously unreachable places, after unlocking the gripper arm or destroying yellow barriers.
You can also find Halcyon in destructible red containers. You will often be given the choice of two advantages, either a Halcyon or an artifact. We advise you to always choose the Halcyon. Because you never know when you’ll find the next one. You also need it if you want to unlock all trophies. Halcyon are purple orbs and look like this:

Farming Halcyon
Farming Halcyon is easier said than done in Saros because it is a limited resource. There is only one in each biome Limited quantities, with the exception of the “Yellow Shore”.
In the last biome “Yellow Shore” resource is no longer limited. There you can find them in unlimited quantities. It is possible that you can get 3 to 5 Halcyon there in one attempt. Unfortunately, the “Yellow Shore” is the last area and is therefore only relevant towards the end of the game. Nonetheless, it’s good to know that Halcyon isn’t limited there.
How many Halcyon are there per biome?
You can in everyone Biome open the map, to see how much Halcyon you can find there. In the top left corner you can see how many you have already found in the respective area and how much there is there. You can also look up this information in the passage at Primary.

For the sake of completeness, we will list how lots of Halcyon each biome has ready for you:
- Destroyed Hill – 8
- Ancient Depths – 12
- Ruined Rift – 12
- Putrid Swamp – 20
- Desecrated Fortress – 25
