Safe banking rules
To help its clients protect themselves against possible phishing attacks, Santander has prepared five safe banking principles for its clients, which should help in everyday banking situations. Keeping them in mind, customers can protect themselves from falling victim to cyber frauds.
Santander suggests that customers always think carefully before clicking on something or answering a specific email or question during a phone call. The second rule, no less important, is to protect your passwords. Under no circumstances should we give our login details to anyone or leave them in public places. It is also important to protect your equipment and the information stored on it. We should always remember to log out of websites after using them and block access to a laptop or computer when we leave it.
