Polyansky: The West will not be able to blame Russia for getting weapons from Ukraine to terrorists
First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that the West will not be able to blame Moscow for falling into the hands of terrorists weapons supplied to Ukraine. This is reported RIA News.
Polyansky stressed that on Friday, December 9, on the topic of the meeting “Consequences of pumping Ukraine with weapons”, Western diplomats “did not squeeze out a word.” According to him, the West continues to use a narrative that boils down to repeating the same theses.
According to the diplomat, the Western states continue the course, which as a result can lead to consequences of a global scale. He stated that the West will not be able to blame the Russian side for the fact that “Ukrainian punishers from your weapons killed and continue to kill the civilian population of Donbass.”
Polyansky added that rampant corruption among Ukrainian, European, and American officials means that weapons from Kiev “end up in the hands of international terrorists and help fuel conflicts in other regions of the world and kill civilians there.”
Earlier, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya warned the United States and Western countries about the consequences for participating in the aiming of Ukrainian weapons. During the meeting of the Security Council of the world organization, the diplomat said that Moscow is exactly aware of the participation of US specialists in the use of HIMARS installations in Ukraine, the MLRS is aimed at the target using American military satellites.
