Ambassador Antonov said that the Russian Federation firmly tells the United States about the absence of surrender in Ukraine
Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov on the air of the TV program “Soloviev LIVE” said that Moscow firmly speaks to the United States about the absence of capitulation in Ukraine. His words lead TASS.
“We speak firmly and clearly and are unequivocally sure of this, at least the Russian diplomats who work here, there will be no such capitulation, there never will be,” the head of the diplomatic mission emphasized.
He expressed firm confidence that all the tasks set by the Supreme Commander for the armed forces would be fully fulfilled.
Antonov noted that the American side is pushing Moscow to negotiate, however, it sets certain conditions. He named three of them – firstly, to stop hostilities during the special operation in Ukraine, secondly, to withdraw troops behind the line until February 24, 2022, and thirdly, “to repent for everything they have done.”
The ambassador added that the United States is increasingly drawn into the conflict in Ukraine with the most unpredictable consequences for the two nuclear powers. He called the current situation “extremely and extremely” dangerous.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia does not intend to ignite a war in Europe, but Western countries constantly say that Moscow needs to “defeat.”
