The Polaris opens its doors in Hamburg from October 11th to 13th, 2024 – a wild mix of video games, anime, influencer live performances and a retro area. And we have a stand on site. Visit us!

This content would not be possible to finance without the premium users. But we urgently need more supporters: you can help too!

How GamersGlobal users can check euph's trade fair photo galleries has given us the Gamescom 2024 was a lot of fun. So much fun that we want to have even more fun! That's why we decided to take part in the Polaris Con in Hamburg decided to October 11-13, 2024 takes place in the Hamburg Congress Center. We are in Hall B7 and have the stand number B7,300but actually you can't miss us because it's directly opposite the large “retro reading corner” and there are other retro offerings next door.

Around 40 square meters are at our disposal and we will use about 2/3 of the space Retro gamers and 1/3 for the Japan documentary to use. And what about GamersGlobal? This will of course also be found with stands and logos etc., don't worry. We will also provide detailed information about our current premium savings offer.

We are on site with a different team than at Gamescom, due to the relatively short lead time and the fairly long route from the deep south to the far north:

  • Thore Flock (Toki)
  • Benjamin Gross (TheRaffer)
  • Hardy Heßdörfer
  • Michael Kunert (Hermann Naseweier)
  • Jörg Langer
  • Norbert Rakos
  • … and knorissey as a construction helper

Rumor has it that individual authors won't be far away either! For example Stephan Freundorferwhich organizes the retro reading corner area directly opposite. Our thanks go to that Medion AGwhich provides us with additional hardware (65-inch TV, Iconic Arcade).

We are your safe space in Hall B7 – and if the stage at the other end gets too loud, we might even let you into our shipping container…

Polaris is an interesting mix of video game and anime fair, with various well-known streamers and cosplayers taking part. To Exhibitor list it's here.

The exhibition center, centrally located in Hamburg, is roughly divided into five theme worlds for Polaris; we run the retro area under “Sandbox”. To put it in the words of the organizers:

With a unique mix of gaming, anime, manga and Asian pop culture, Polaris brought over 27,000 visitors from various communities to the Hamburg exhibition halls last year and is going into the third round from October 11th – 13th, 2024! The biggest German influencers and great exhibitors await you. Three days of stage shows, sticker searches in the Polaris app, tournaments, workshops, food, cosplay and much more. Hamburg is worth it!

But if you're worried that keywords like “biggest German influencer” or “sticker search” might push the average age at the trade fair too high, rest assured: by the time you get to the retro section, you'll definitely be back to the old days , who will bravely protect you from too much youth culture! We are your safe space, the island in the sticker surf! Or you can just bring your sons and daughters with you and be surprised that they know all the young celebrities who are on stage and are only looking for ways to escape at the retro gamer stand.

In addition to Retro and Co., there are also a number of game and hardware manufacturers, including

  • Bandai Namco
  • Capcom
  • Gamecity Hamburg
  • Nintendo
  • Razer
