Resident Evil 6 exceeds one million sales on Switch

Capcom recently updated its page million sellers, i.e. games that have sold at least one million copies. Although they are very numerous, 120 at present, a new arrival has caught our eye in recent days: Resident Evil 6.

Than a licensed game resident Evil sells at least a million copies, so far it's not surprising at all. But if this interests us, it is above all because Capcom specifies that the version Nintendo Switch of the game has just crossed the million sales mark. For comparison, the version PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 sold to 9.10 million of copies, against 3 million for the version PlayStation 4 / Xbox One. Certainly, the Nintendo Switch does less well than the other machines, but for a game initially released 7 years before, the observation is far from bad.

On the site of Capcom, it is possible to discover all of the games they have released on Nintendo Switch and which generated at least one million sales. Let's first look at the titles that give information about the version Switch alone :

For the following games, the data does not specify how many sales were made on the hybrid console of Nintendo ; all platforms are mixed:

It's no longer surprising, but it is interesting to note that two licenses stand out very well: Monster Hunter And resident Evil. As a reminder, the best-selling game in the history of Capcom stay Monster Hunter World, with its 20.10 million copies sold on PlayStation 4, Xbox One And PC. The episode Rise comes right after with 14.70 million, as mentioned on the list above. However, everything does not seem to be up to date, since Capcom announced at the beginning of the month that Monster Hunter Rise had exceeded 15 million sales.
