The virtual reality version of the horror game was already announced earlier this year, but now the release date is also known. The game will be available exclusively on the Oculus Quest 2. Resident Evil 4 VR is being developed by Armature, known for the game ReCore. A new trailer for the game has also been released.
Players can move around freely in the game or use ‘teleport’ to move around in the game – depending on which method they prefer. You can also grab weapons and items directly from the virtual body, for example by pulling out a gun from under the belt or an item to improve the health of the left shoulder. All kinds of puzzles have also been adapted to make good use of virtual reality.
