D3 Publisher has now confirmed the release of “Earth Defense Force 6” for the West. This is celebrated with a new trailer that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Good news for everyone who likes to deal with all sorts of alien vermin: the weird shooter series “Earth Defense Force” is going soon also in this country into the sixth round. “Earth Defense Force 6” is in a similar vein to the currently very successful one “Helldivers 2” and optionally lets its players save the world together.

As the responsible publisher D3 announced, “Earth Defense Force 6” will be released on July 25th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and the PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The title can now be pre-ordered in the PlayStation Store.
Players have to save the world again
In the story of “Earth Defense Force 6”, humanity was able to successfully prevail against the hostile alien civilization of the Primers in the year 2024. However, the population was decimated to a meager ten percent. The world was on the verge of collapse.
Three years have passed since then and the survivors are still fighting the remaining threats. In “Earth Defense Force 6,” the identity of the invaders who have plagued Earth for so long will finally be revealed.

The game comes in a standard and a deluxe edition
As the publisher stated, “Earth Defense Force 6” will be released in both standard and deluxe versions. The standard edition of the shooter is offered at a price of 59.99 euros, while users have to pay 89.99 euros for the deluxe content. The Deluxe Edition includes the season pass for the game.
The shooter can already be pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus members can save ten percent and get “Earth Defense Force 6” for 53.99 euros. Pre-orderers will receive the Reverse Core Type N Wing Diver Support Device and 24-hour early access to the game during the pre-order period.
Buyers who purchase “Earth Defense Force 6” from the PlayStation Store by December 24, 2024 will also receive another benefit. They receive the following bonus DLCs:
- Air Raider Boarding Weapons: Powered Exoskeleton Nix Metal Coat
- Exclusive DLC: Recruiter (Takanashi Kiara)
