Reflecting on Palworld’s Growth and Commitment to Addressing Cheating After One Month

If the number of players simultaneously on Steam has subsided and the big hype following its launch has calmed down, Palworld continued to sell like hotcakes and attract more people. The latest news dating back to January 31, Pocketpair thus counted 19 million players, including 12 million on the platform Valve.

Indeed, we have just learned that after a good month since the launch of theEarly Access, no less than 25 million players took part in the adventure. Among them, 15 million purchased a copy on Steamwhile 10 million were able to access it on Xboxwhere it is included in the Game Pass. The developers reiterate for the occasion their commitment to prioritizing bug fixes and preventing cheating attempts.

On this subject, here is the message which was posted a few days ago:

Currently, some users are unable to connect to official servers due to cheats and fraudulent activities. We have confirmed that some players are unable to play correctly.

As a company, we do not tolerate any fraudulent activity or cheating, and we are working on measures to deal with it strictly and on a priority basis.

First of all, we plan to release a player list feature for servers in a late February update. With this, we will strengthen the identification of cheating players and the suspension of their use by the development team.

Following this, we plan to introduce an external anti-cheat solution to take action against particularly frequent fraudulent activities and cheating. Please note that in the case of community, single player and co-op servers, the use of this feature is optional.

In addition to the above measures, we will continue to take stringent action against any further cheating and fraudulent activity.

Although the development team addresses each issue daily and takes action, there are many instances where we are unable to keep up, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our entire team is working hard to get everyone back to enjoying the game comfortably and with peace of mind as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your continued support.

Palworld is for sale on Steam priced at €28.99. You can also subscribe to PC/Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from €14.99 for one month on Amazon.
