Arcane on Blu-Ray, it will soon be a reality
In November 2021, Netflix made a strong showing by offering the animated television series adaptation of League of Legends on its Arcane platform: it's simple, it's one of the entertainment giant's biggest hits, masterfully orchestrated by the Parisians from Fortiche Production. If you still haven't seen it, we strongly recommend it… and besidesyou can even wait for the physical release.
Because yes, this is the big news of the day to remember: season 1 of Arcane is about to be published in box by GKIDS, producer and distributor notably known for being behind the disc version of The Boy and the Heron. With the exception of China, the whole world will therefore suffer premium and 4K Blu-Ray editions of Arcane, as well as a digital edition (excluding Netflix, therefore).
GKIDS is excited to partner with our friends at Riot to bring the global hit series Arcane to fans around the world. We're fans of the series and our team is having fun collaborating with the creatives at Riot and Fortiche to create an incredible edition for fans. This project was imagined on the lawn of Lake Annecy, so we are very happy to be able to announce this collaboration.
A nice proposal while waiting for season 2
For the moment, details are still lacking: we don't know what exactly will be in these physical versions, when they will be released or even how much they will cost, but GKIDS promises new details very soon. Waiting for, the French company has taken the liberty of revealing the dust jacket which will adorn these new editions, which is here.
Let us recall in passing that'Arcane will return in November 2024 on Netflix with an extremely anticipated season 2, so the trailer can be devoured in our video player above.
