Gamingdeputy attaches a demonstration video as follows:

In the GIMP generator, two systems are responsible for generating the image, this time of a lion bathing in sunlight. Using the native Qualcomm AI Stack plugin, the Snapdragon-powered laptop generated 10 different lion images in 12.12 seconds on a system powered by Snapdragon X Elite.

The Intel machine using the OpenVINO plug-in only produced one image at a time.

Production editor Andrey Sozinov, who is attending MWC 2024, said that in live demonstrations, Snapdragon X Elite-based laptops outperformed Intel Core Ultra 7 devices on the same Stable Diffusion image generation task.

The advantage of Snapdragon X Elite in artificial intelligence tasks is expected, since the NPU included in Intel Core Ultra chips can only provide up to 34 TOPS of performance. Meteor Lake is Intel's first processor equipped with an NPU.

Intel has previously stated that the AI performance of future generations of Arrow Lake (desktop) and Lunar Lake (mobile) processors will be three times that of Meteor Lake.
