Buy PS5: Old version or Slim?

But the PS5 Slim does have one disadvantage: The included stand is designed more simply and only works with the console lying down. It is still possible to place the PS5 upright, but it does not offer the secure hold of an additional stand. Sony charges a lot for an additional stand.
In the foreseeable future, the question of old PS5 or new PS5 Slim will no longer arise: Sony has switched all production capacities to the slim version, and only stocks of the old version will be sold off.
