As the developers of People Can Fly admitted, the VR version of the popular first-person shooter “Bulletstorm” will be delayed by a few weeks. The additional development time should primarily benefit the user experience.

The VR version of “Bulletstorm” was originally scheduled to be released on December 14, 2023, just over three weeks from now. As People Can Fly admitted shortly before the release, players will have to be patient a little longer. So the Polish studio decided to postpone “Bulletstorm VR” at short notice.
As People Can Fly added in the announcement of the postponement, the studio made this decision in close consultation with the developers of the VR version, Incuvo. The stated goal: to use the additional development time to ensure a better gaming experience.
People Can Fly confirmed the new release date as January 18, 2024.
The official statement verbatim
Those responsible commented on the postponement of “Bulletstorm VR” as follows: “People Can Fly and Incuvo have made the difficult decision to postpone the release of Bulletstorm VR to January 18, 2024. We know Bulletstorm fans are excited to put on their VR headsets and hit it hard in virtual reality.”

“We want to use this additional time to further improve the experience and ensure that Bulletstorm VR meets the high standards you have come to expect from the well-known AAA FPS franchise and People Can Fly as a developer of high-quality AAA games. “
While the VR version ensures a particularly immersive experience thanks to the modern virtual reality headsets, everything in terms of gameplay remains the same. “Bulletstorm VR” also combines a classic first-person shooter with a biting humor and the Skillshot system. The Skillshot system rewards you for particularly spectacular kills, bringing a breath of fresh air to the shooter genre.
