The PS Plus Essential new additions for May 2024 will appear at the beginning of next week. Conversely, of course, this means that the “free” games from last month will no longer be available. So grab it if you haven't secured the games yet.
This week, Sony Interactive Entertainment introduced us to the titles that users with an active PlayStation Plus subscription can download and play at no additional cost starting next week.

We'll tell you in detail which new additions are waiting for you here. As usual, new additions to the Essential level are activated on the first Tuesday of each month. In this case, that would be May 7, 2024. However, not only the new titles will be made available on that Tuesday.
At the same time they disappear Essential title from the previous month. If you haven't grabbed these yet, you should grab them as soon as possible. Once saved or downloaded, the titles remain in your library and can be played at any time.
Of course, an active PS Plus membership is always required.

After the essential titles have been activated for May 2024, PlayStation Plus will continue shortly. Next up for us is the unveiling of the May new additions for the Extra and Premium levels. This will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at around 5:30 p.m. our time.
You can traditionally download and play the new extra and premium titles from the following Tuesday. In this case, that would be May 21, 2024. New PS Plus titles are usually activated around 11 a.m. our time.
