The prison management sim “Prison Architect 2” was recently announced as a 3D sequel for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, but Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven have newly announced the Steam page.updateannounced the postponement of this work. It has been revealed that the release date, which was originally scheduled for March 26, 2024, has been changed to May 7.
As of now, no specific reason for the postponement has been disclosed, but Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven say they will use the additional development time provided by the postponement to work on more bug fixes and further updates for all platforms. In addition to optimization, the company plans to conduct a live broadcast focusing on development progress in parallel with the “Prison Architect Academy” series starting in March.
