Even though the episodes of “Fallout” stayed very close to the wasteland from the gaming series, fans complained about the absence of some famous creatures. However, an important critter from the games has now been confirmed for the second season of the show.

Spoilers for the end of the first season of Fallout follow!

Showrunners didn't want to “waste” popular creature

The creatures in question are Deathclaws. The critters have appeared in every game in the “Fallout” series so far. The Deathclaws are one of the most dangerous creatures that can be encountered in the wasteland and are considered extremely hostile and deadly.

While Deathclaws don't appear directly in the Fallout series, a skull of the beast can be seen near the end credits of the very last episode. But this will change in the second season, said co-showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner in an interview with The Wrap.

Second season will be filmed in a different location

“We wanted deathclaws, but we didn’t want to just throw them away,” Wagner said. “It's such a monumental piece that we wanted to save for Season 2 to get it right. We didn't want to just add it to the massive world-building we already had in Season 1. So we’re excited to finally tackle one of the games’ most iconic elements in Season 2.”

Even before the start of the “Fallout” series, there was Rumors of a second season. This has now also been done officially confirmed. After filming the first season in Utah and New York, the second season will be filmed in California this time.
