Anyone who still has old games for Nintendo's legendary Game Boy can play them with this Analog Pocket play in a modern way that also places great emphasis on appropriate retro charm.
The manufacturer has obviously hit a nerve with this, as the devices always sell out quickly.
But there is good news: The Game Boy clone will be available again today at 5 p.m. German time. This was officially announced via Twitter/X:

If you're thinking about making a purchase, you should set your (cell phone) alarm clock to shortly before 5 p.m. to be on the safe side. Recently it has been official store no longer available, but that will change again at this time.
The big catch: the price. At $220 it is generally high.
The necessary import also adds high shipping costs as well as customs and VAT in Germany.
What can the Anlogue Pocket do?
Above all one thing: Hold modules for Nintendo's famous portable console exactly like one of the Game Boy did, i.e. via a suitable slot on the back.
To do this he uses something called FPGA
chip in order to be able to play the old systems natively or without software emulation and completely legally.
Titles for the Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance are natively supported. There are also adapters for the Sega Game Gear, for Neo Geo Pocket and Neo Geo Pocket+ as well as for Atari Lynx.
The Analogue Pocket relies on the following hardware:
- LC display: 3.5 inches
- Resolution: 1600×1440
- Battery capacity: 4,300mAh
- Stereo speakers
- Micro SD card slot
- USB-C port
