It seems that Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 did not fix some important problems in the game, in some cases even exacerbated the situation. Almost immediately after the release of the update, many players began to complain about the police, which still appeared too quickly. Police officers still continue to materialize in space, and not come by cars – although they do it much further than they did before the patch.
This was no different for Paul Tassi from Forbes who tested if the new update fixed the issue or not. According to him:
They need more time to appear, and they do it at a greater distance. But, as you can see, they do not show up in cars, and elite policemen emerge from thin air a few steps away from me.
But as it turned out, this is far from the only problem with the patch.
The main complaint of most of the gamers is that the game has now began to run much worse after installing the update. According to them, sudden crashes and manifestations of minor bugs have become much more frequent.
The worst thing is that along with this, the performance of Cyberpunk 2077 also dropped significantly, which, so, was not up to par. Users with powerful graphics cards report an overall performance drop of 15 FPS, although there was no reason for this. The problematic situation with the patch was also noted by Daniel Vavra, the author of Kingdom Come: Deliverance and the Mafia series.
Cyberpunk 2077 has very mixed reviews on Steam at the moment. The rating dropped to 59% due to the negative reaction from the community after the release of patch 1.2.
