One scene is supposed to cause a stir on Twitter

According to Dina actress Isabela Merced, there's one scene in season two that will pop up on everyone's Twitter feed. There are two likely options here.

Isabela Merced recently did an interview with BuzzFeed. It was mainly about the filming of “Turtles All the Way Down,” but the second season of “The Last of Us” was also briefly discussed.

In case you didn't notice: The 22 year old actress plays Dina in season two, the girlfriend of the main character Ellie. Because this character plays an important role in the video game template, she will get a lot of screen time in the series.

There seems to be chemistry between her and Bella Ramsey

First she was asked what she could reveal about the shoot and what it was like working with Ellie actress Bella Ramsey. Here she praises like in another recent interview showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. She also positively highlights the chemistry between her and Ramsey.

“Everyone is a gem of a person and we all get along very well,” she says, among other things. Merced then teases a sensational scene.

It's really very exciting. There's one scene in particular that I think everyone will see on their Twitter feed.

The most obvious would of course be the death of protagonist Joel Miller, but apparently Merced is referring to a scene with her character Dina. So we can think of two likely possibilities:

  • The kiss scene between Ellie and Dina on ball night
  • The moment when Ellie and Dina get closer in a basement full of cannabis plants

The American may also be talking about a scene that doesn't even appear in the game. After all, there were moments in the first season that were not included in the original. The two sequences mentioned above could certainly attract attention on social media.

Merced's take on season two: “In my opinion and from what we've heard from the studio and from Craig and stuff, I feel like this could be an iconic TV story.”

Furthermore, “The Last of Us” series won another award. Naughty Dog reports about this on Twitter. The makers can look forward to the so-called Peabody Award.

Filming for season two is expected to continue until September this year. It will then be broadcast in 2025.
