One of the best photo apps just got even better – and it's from Google

• Unblur: This tool can be used to rescue blurry photos. It is essentially a sharpening filter that intelligently sharpens the most important contours. Of course with AI.

So you can already use the functions today

If you have a Google One subscription, you can use some of the features on your iPhone today.

1. Download the Google Photos app from the App Store.
2. Open it and select an image you want to edit.
3. Tap on “Edit”.

You will now see various suggestions. Depending on the photo, the options differ. The app uses scene recognition and uses this to provide various tools. At the same time, this is also a disadvantage because not every option can always be selected.

Some functions, such as the “Magic Eraser”, are already available in the Google Photos app for iOS.

Are all tools already available? Google has announced that the AI ​​tools will only be rolled out gradually from May 15th. Despite this statement, some of the tools in the app are already available through a Google One subscription. These include the Magic Editor and Magic Eraser.

The hook: The Magic Editor allows you to edit and save a maximum of 10 images per month without a membership. If you want to increase this limit, a Premium Google One subscription is necessary.
