Official Release Date Announced for Hot Lap Racing: The Arcade Simulation Game

Last September, Zero Games Studio And Just for Gamesnow renamed Maximum Entertainmentrevealed Hot Lap Racing, a racing game simcademix between simulation and arcade, because after all, why choose between one or the other? The title has a new trailer today:

The video above tells us that Hot Lap Racing release date is set for July 16, 2024 on PC and Nintendo Switch, the wait won't be very long. The game will not be limited to just one category of vehicles, car enthusiasts will have a bunch of cars to drive, here is a presentation of the title:

Discover the history of motorsport, from GTs and prototypes to historic Formula 1, and compete with your friends or take part in online competitions.

In Hot Lap Racing, players will drive legendary cars on legendary tracks that have marked the history of motorsport over the years. They will also have the opportunity to become the future generation of motorsport with Formula Extreme, a car built entirely by the community. In Career Mode, players will meet many real-life auto racing celebrities during the sport's heyday.

The developers have already confirmed the presence of the vehicles, Brabham BT24, Minardi M191, Alfa Romeo 155 DTM, Renault Laguna BTCC, Alpine A110 GT4, Ligier JS P320, Renault 5 TURBO 3E And Peugeot 9X8as well as the circuits of Jarama (Spain), Salzburgring (Austria), Flagstaff (Arizona) and French Riviera (Côte d'Azur).
