For less than 40 euros you will soon be able to put a piece of video game history on your shelf.

Lego is continuing its successful retro series and bringing back one of the most famous game consoles of the 1990s as a kit. From June 1, 2026, fans can Sega Mega Drive made of 479 terminal blocks recreate. The set is clearly aimed at nostalgics and adult collectors who experienced the 16-bit era themselves (view in the Lego store).

With a price of 39.99 euros, the model is also pleasing and surprisingly affordable – the Game Boy, which only has 429 parts, costs significantly more at 59.99 euros. However, this is also aimed more at adult collectors.

Lego brings back Sega Mega Drive

The finished model is 16 centimeters wide and 12 centimeters deep compact decorative object for every gaming room. In addition to the console, the scope of delivery also includes two removable controllers and a plug-in game module.
