At first glance, the Switch 2 can only be distinguished from the best-selling hybrid console Nintendo Switch (over 140 million units sold) by its completely black color scheme: two removable control units are installed to the left and right of the display so-called Joy-Cons. Nintendo is leaving information on the planned delivery date and specific pricing open for the time being. Just this much: The console is still scheduled to come onto the market in the calendar year 2025 – observers expect a time window in early summer, i.e. May at the earliest.
