V Rising finally launched in 1.0
It's official, V Rising has finally been released in version 1.0. Launched for the first time in 2022 in early access, the title from Stunlock Studios has had plenty of time to collect valuable testimonials from players to finally release in the best possible conditions.
What if it had already been a hit during the launch of its early access, V Rising seems to be taking advantage of its 1.0 to still attract many players. According to SteamDB, the game currently has over 50,000 active players and reached a peak concurrent connections of nearly 100,000 in the last 24 hours.
As a reminder, V Rising is a game on the border between a hack'n slash action-RPG and a survival game. The game begins with the creation of your vampire and the creation of a castle, the true starting point of your nocturnal tribulations. From then on, you will have to face several enemies and bosses in order to sustain yourself and gain power, all in an open world.
A shower of new things
With this version 1.0, the Stunlock Studios teams are determined to offer the best possible experience to the V Rising community. The developers have made several major changes, starting with the implementation of a difficulty system. In terms of in-game content, we now find a whole new area to explore, the ruins of Mortium, which offer a rather tough challenge to players who have reached the endgame. New unique weapons have been added, as well as a new weapon upgrade system.
We also retain several new cosmetic features, notably for the decoration of the castle and more customization options for your character and equipment, among others. All the changes that occurred with this update 1.0 are listed here. All these new implementations will certainly delight PC players, but also PS5 players. Stunlock reminded us once again, V Rising should be released later this year on the Sony console. An outing to follow closely.
