New trailer puts Harley Quinn in focus

To prepare fans for the slowly approaching release of the DC action game “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”, a new short trailer was released today. It’s all about Harley Quinn.

After last week’s “Insider” video series on the DC Comics action game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League started, a new short trailer has now followed. This time, however, the focus is not on the entire Task Force X, but solely on Harley Quinn. As usual, you can watch the video yourself further down in the article.

A useful madwoman on a suicide mission

The narrator in the approximately 40-second clip is Amanda Waller, the director of ARGUS and commander of the Suicide Squad. She describes Harley Quinn as a “crazy” but also admits that she can be useful. This is not just due to her fighting skills, as the Joker’s ex has now also acquired Batman technology.

Somewhat reluctantly, Waller seems to admit that Harley might be just what they need to save the world. Well, at least if she doesn’t blow the former psychiatrist’s head off first.

In the upcoming DC action game, alien villain Brainiac launches an invasion of Earth and brings the members of the Justice League including Superman, Batman and Flash under his control. Now that the planet’s mightiest heroes have switched sides, they have become a huge threat. Amanda Waller therefore sends Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot and Captain Boomerang to Metropolis to kill the JL.

Further reports on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League:

Developer studio Rocksteady Games promises a story-focused gaming experience with “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”. As in the “Batman: Arkham” games, the team’s strengths should also be showcased in the upcoming DC title. In terms of play, the focus is clearly on the shooter gameplay, but moving through the huge game world should also play an important role.

“Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” will be released on February 2, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Epic Games Store & Steam).
