Disney+ films from April 22 to 28, 2024 to eat well

The Disney+ releases from April 22 to 28, 2024 offer the film of an actress that Hollywood is chasing: Anya Taylor-Joy. A young actress who is bursting onto the screen and who has already worked for Robert Eggers (The Witch), M. Night Shymalan (Split) and Edgar Wright (Last Night in Solo). But above all, it will be the star of the next Furiosa: a Mad Max saga, the sequel to Fury Road still directed by George Miller. After wandering the strange streets of London with the fantasy thriller Last Night in Solo, she is reunited for the film The menu released in 2022.

What does it say? The romantic getaway of a couple who goes to an island to enjoy a 5-star meal, accessible only to carefully selected distinguished guests. But the feast will quickly take a very strange and violent turn. A social satire, which has excellent feedback, with Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter) and Nicholas Hoult (Superman) available April 26, 2024 on Disney+.

Disney+ series from April 22 to 28, 2024

These new Disney+ features are also special since they mark the end of the Shogun event series. A television show exclusive to the platform which has accumulated more than 9 million views in six days. A record that made the program the “the most watched fiction series in the world” according to Disney. How can we explain such enthusiasm? The absolutely rave reviews and word of mouth must have clearly helped, as did the comparison to Game of Thrones. The feedback from the press, even before the release, praised the writing, the interpretation and even the visuals of this series which plunges us into the heart of feudal Japan with the excellent Hiroyuki Sanada (Westworld, The Last Samurai…) in the main role.

Aside from this grand finale of Shogun, Disney+ subscribers will also be able to catch Star Wars Bad Batch season 3 as well as X-Men 97 in new episodes. Finally, there will be the new police series Tracker where a survival pro will use his talents to help those who wish it, starting with the police themselves.

Documentaries from April 22 to 28, 2024 with rock

It will roar loudly in the next Disney+ documentaries with reports on two very different beasts. On one side the Disneynature film Tigers which promises a unique immersion in the life of a young tigress in India, and on the other the docu Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Odyssey. Viewers will leave one tiger for another with a retrospective of the career of the legendary rock group. Between concert images, interviews with the main members and prestigious guests from the world of music like Bruce Springsteen, Disney+ will chart the rise to power of this group with its ups and downs.
